Assist an ESL Classroom

With nearly 600 students served a year in approximately a dozen locations throughout Montgomery County, our ESL classroom program is taught by TESOL-certified teachers, but often need volunteers to assist in the classroom. Our classroom assistant volunteers typically volunteer in one class a week, lasting approximately 3 hours. The extra help in the classroom is part of what ensures quality education and attention for students to be able to keep up with the pace of the class and succeed.

If you are interested in becoming a classroom assistant volunteer, please contact Ahu Moser at ahu@lcmcmd.org or (301) 610-0030.
